1. Our commitment

UNIABIDJAN is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, and we regard accessibility as an essential part of an inclusive experience for every visitor.

2. Scope of this statement

This statement applies to the UNIABIDJAN website. Some third-party tools and embedded content linked from the site may be covered by their providers’ own accessibility statements.

3. What you can do on this site

This website is designed so that you can navigate using a keyboard, use it with a screen reader, resize text up to 200 percent without loss of content, and read text that meets recognised colour-contrast levels.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA. This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, due to the limitations listed below.

8. Known limitations

We know that some parts of this site are not yet fully accessible: some images may lack descriptive alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1); some colour combinations may not meet contrast requirements (WCAG 1.4.3); and some interactive elements may not be fully operable by keyboard (WCAG 2.1.1). We are working to fix these. Some content is also outside our direct control, including third-party embeds such as maps, videos and social media, and documents published before this statement, whose accessibility we cannot always guarantee.

10. How we tested this site

We assess the accessibility of this website ourselves, testing a representative sample of key pages and user journeys with a combination of automated tools and manual checks, including keyboard navigation and screen-reader testing.

We continue to review and improve the accessibility of this site as part of our ongoing development, and we consider accessibility when creating new content and features.
